  • Art & Design in the Chilterns in the 20th Century

    Friends of Great Missenden Parish Church event

    Designated an Area of Outstanding National Beauty, the Chilterns has played host to many artists and craftsmen.
    Dr Graham Twemlow's illustrated talk will focus on the work of artists and designers who lived and worked in this part of the world during the 20th Century.
    Works by Paul and John Nash, Eric Gill, John Piper, Clare Leighton, Marion Dorn, and E. McKnight Kauffer will be discussed.
    A retired University lecturer, Dr Graham Twemlow currently gives talks and writes on subjects related to the decorative arts.
