We are an active Church of England Parish located in rural South Bucks. We have three Churches: St Peter & St Paul, Great Missenden, is the Parish Church, St Mary's Ballinger and Little Hampden Church are small churches serving their local village communities. Our Church family includes a wide variety of people and this is reflected in the diversity of our worship. We are most active on Sundays but during the week we run house groups, coffee mornings, informal services, music rehearsals, and many other opportunities for friendship, prayer, and study of the bible. We put great emphasis on our Youth Work with a well established Junior Church programme.
Our teaching is grounded in the Bible; we love liturgy, the sacraments and music in our worship. It is our aim that all we do is genuinely relevant to modern men and women and that they feel part of a caring family and encounter something of the transforming love of Jesus Christ in our midst.
As a response to God's generosity people are very generous with their time, their talents and their money and because of this we have a vibrant Church community in which everyone plays their part. We are also able to host many events such as concerts which are part of the life of this village.
