Children and Young People

Junior Church

Children and Young people are an integral part of our congregation. We provide lots of activities throughout the year for them to get involved in. Our Junior Church meets during term time. If you have further queries or would like to get involved please get in touch here.

Annual Registration

If your child is an existing member of Junior Church and you need to complete a new annual registration form, you can do so here.

Map (Reception to Year 4)

MAP stands for "Making and Praising". While our members are in school years from Reception to Year 4, younger children are welcome to join in if parents can lend a hand.  We generally meet on the second and third Sundays in term time and sometimes on other Sundays too. We meet at church at 10am, typically in the Bell Tower.  We also arrange a variety of outings e.g. to a local farm to feed the lambs in the Spring and Peterley Farm for fruit picking in the Autumn.  We often have a theme we follow such as “The Parables” and enjoy a wide variety of related activities including:
  • Treasure hunts
  • Craft
  • Cooking
  • Gardening
  • Games
  • Listening to stories
  • Making and decorating- ranging from kites and cakes to Saint Georges swords and shields!
We hope your children will join us! We cover a wide age range but aim to keep activities fun for both older and younger members of the group. Children come from a variety of local schools and it's a great opportunity to make friends with other children in the community, both boys and girls.
